GRWM Clarins HydraQuench | Beauty Ritual

I’ll preface this piece by stating that some of these items, I purchased while traveling on an Air France flight and the other ones were part of the travel bag I received while traveling Business Class.

This year, I made a promise to myself: to try, as much as possible, to not purchase new products unless I am close to finished with my previous batch.

The down side about manifesting such small things as beauty items or getting them as gift is that it is difficult to fully appreciate how incredible it is to manifest them, over and over again.

I’m one to always speak of the importance and the power of gratitude as one of the most relevant aspects of manifesting one’s desires in a continuous fashion.

One could point out the paradox between this principle (gratitude) and the feeling of entitlement (different from arrogance), the feeling of expectancy that has to be in the trained human-goddess DNA in order to also attract her desires.

You always have to juggle between these two principles: being grateful for the small and big stuff; yet, never doubting that attracting your desires and every resource designed to embellish your journey, is your birthright.

Another part of my promise to myself to stop wasting beauty products because of compulsive buying habits is to buy small sizes whenever possible.

Which brings me to the products I am using here and why they are travel size.

THE ROUTINE

A few times a week, I make sure I follow a complete skincare routine. I especially emphasize on night time beauty habits.

A long time ago, when I just started working in the corporate world, a couple of friends of mine from Korea and Japan inspired me to do a 6 to 7-step daily skincare routine.

I have to admit, sometimes, I just don’t feel like it. And those are exactly the days when I commit to doing it.

Nothing is more powerful than to beat the urge to be sloppy or lazy.

Volume Million Lashes “So Couture”, L’OREAL

I bought this mascara on the airplane. Actually, I remembered having tried the first one that came out a few years ago. I thought I had liked it in the past… to tell you the truth, I don’t know anymore. But, it’s not my favorite. I worked my lashes afterwards with another mascara brush.

I used this one by KIKO also to perfect my lashes just like I like them.
